Maternity 

According to Tunisia Leave Laws, the average paid maternity leave should be 14 weeks and a duration of six weeks mandatory leave is provided after child delivery.  

Paternity leave

Male employees in the private sector are entitled to ten days of salaried paternity leave and should be provided seven days after childbirth. In other sectors, male employees are granted one day of remunerated leave after the child is born.

Sick leave

If an employee has been ill on a package holiday in the Republic of Tunisia in the past three years, they are entitled to compensation. Tunisia does not confirm the number of sick hours or days a worker may receive but an employee that requires sick leave must inform the employer within 48 hours of disease onset or after realizing the inability to work because of illness.
