The Covid-19 tax relief comes to an end on 31st December 2020. On 22nd December 2020, the National Assembly passed Tax Laws (Amendment) [No.2] Bill, 2020 introducing the new tax rates. The Bill introduced new 2021 PAYE rates. The proposed Bill will come into effect on the 1st of January 2021. The same will be posted on KRA website.Below are the new 2021 PAYE Rates compared to the COVID-19 PAYE rates.

Personal relief remains at KES 2,400 (KES. 28,800 per annum) and the minimum monthly taxable income is KES. 24,001.
